Alexander Hamilton- Federalist

New York Representative

Lawyer; Good socio-economic status, not very wealthy, but above average

Hamilton was an individual who really wanted another Constitutional Convention called. He supported the idea of a strong central government, but ended up having
very limited impact on the Convention due to his other two fellow New York delegates, who were antifederalists.

Hamilton was a member of New York's ratifying convention, and voted in favor of the Constitution.

-Supported the ideas of a President and Senators who would serve for life as long as they showed "good behavior"
-Wanted a strong central government and a strong national bank. The Consitution included these ideas, so he was a supporter of its ratification
